Day 15 – use slash, button, mask, strap and balloon in the one poem

The leather strap
slashed the air
and a brown hand.

Both faces masked
lips buttoned, no
emotion flashing.

But I could see their thoughts
as if speech balloons filled
the sky, covered the class-
room walls around them.
