Day 24 - about an urge
Apparently from grey box trees
birds get the urge to drop undigested
seeds of box thorn. Around
each beautifully balanced tree
an inhospitable fairy ring grows.
Or a protective barrier like briar:
the princesses disguised as possums
the princes determined to find
an easy way through, armed with
hatchet, weed killer, gun. Not a game
toads should try.
